Like if a liquid can take paint off a car and corrosion off the battery and then drink it is amazingly stupid. Coke is that liquid an so many drink it.

I think the first year of mess hall was the first year we became friends because I distinctly remember that night we ate one of those very delicious steak recipes from the Estela cookbook (tartare, with fried sunchoke chips lol) and smoked out (via the sunchoke chips) that tiny Fort Greene studio I was staying in because I was living at my parents' house in new jersey and so desperately wanted to be living in Brooklyn. happy anniversary, mess hall, and happy friendversary, to us.
