Tomato shrub! Sounds incredible. I confess I have a jar of apricot shrub in my fridge from last summer...I swear it's still good even after a year. (Not dead yet!)

Circling back bc we finally have tomatoes in CSAs and farmers markets in Seattle --- GREAT SUCCESS!!!!!!! Very glad to have doubled it. Only tried with Pilsner with some ice cubes so far but am excited to experiment further. How key do you think tomato quality is to the end result?? Curious if it could still work with like...... bad grocery store tomatoes or canned specimens in the winter or if it would just taste like ketchup soda lmao. An experiment for another season

ok delayed response BUT—one thing I have been wanting to try is a tip I learned from Sohla in a video: she uses maggi tomato seasoning to make mediocre tomatoes taste like delicious tomatoes.
